Q: Are NutraV supplements FDA-approved?

A: By law, the FDA does not approve dietary and nutritional supplements. However, all NutraV products are manufactured in accordance with the FDA’s current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) which ensures all manufacturing, quality and safety standards are complied with. All NutraV raw materials, ingredients and finished products also undergo rigorous Third Party Lab Testing for heavy metals, microbes, allergens, and other contaminants to ensure our products are compliant with current guidelines and regulations.

Q: Why do many NutraV supplements claim immune-boosting properties?

A: The role nutrition and supplementation play in supporting the immune system is well- established. A wealth of mechanistic and clinical data show that vitamins, including Vitamins A, B6, B12, C, D, E, and Folate; trace elements including Zinc, Iron, Selenium, Magnesium and Copper; and the Omega-3 Fatty Acids Eicosapentaenoic Acid and Docosahexaenoic Acid play important roles in supporting the immune system. NutraV uses combinations of these ingredients, and numerous others (see individual product ingredient lists) to formulate our immune boosting product lineup.

Q: Are your supplements Vegan?

A: Yes, all NutraV products and supplements are Vegan-friendly, apart from our Grass-Fed Seabuck Whey Protein. Using plant-based ingredients is an important factor in our research and product development, and accommodating Vegan needs is a vital aspect of formulating our supplements.

Q: What kind of testing do you do on your supplements?

A: Each batch of our supplements is tested for identity, purity, strength and composition, so we can be sure you’re getting only the highest quality and most beneficial supplements and nutrients.

Q: When will I start feeling something?

A: All NutraV products have different applications, but some of our supplements such as Z- Hydrate take effect within minutes. Other products can take up to 24 hours.

Q: How should I take my NutraV supplements?

A: Each product has different applications and indications for use, however we recommend taking all of our supplements orally.

Q: Do NutraV supplements contain any GMOs?

A: No. All NutraV products and supplements contain only non-GMO ingredients.

Q: Do NutraV supplements contain dairy, soy, gluten, nuts, or sugar?

A: Each NutraV supplement is formulated differently. Please refer to each product’s ingredient list for more information.

Q: Do I need to refrigerate my NutraV products?

A: No, not necessarily. Keep your supplements in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight. Cabinets, pantries, and counters are great! Preferably, leave them somewhere that reminds you to take them each day, or according to the prescribed dosage protocol, so you’re sure to stay on track with your nutritional and supplement intake needs

Q: Can NutraV supplements be taken with prescription medication?

A: When supplementing while on prescription medication, please consult your healthcare provider before use.

Q: Are NutraV products safe to take while pregnant or breastfeeding?

A: Please consult with your medical practitioner.

Q: Are there any side effects when taking NutraV products?

A: Just like with any new diet, product, or change, your body may experience a temporary acclimation period. However, we have yet to hear of any negative side effects from our customers.

Q: What happens if I take NutraV supplements after their expiry date?

A: All NutraV products are completely safe to take after they have expired, however, we only guarantee potency and efficacy up until the expiration date. If your product is expired when you receive your order, please let us know and we will replace it free of charge.

Q: What happens if I miss a dose? Or a few doses?

A: There’s no harm if you miss a day, or even if you miss a few. But for optimal results, following the recommended intake protocol is encouraged.

Q: What if I take more than the recommended dose?

A: You should always only take the recommended dosage of any medication, vitamin or nutritional supplement. If you accidentally take more than the recommended dose of NutraV products, there shouldn’t be any toxicity concern, but vitamin overdose can occur when taking more than recommended amounts of multivitamin and nutrient supplements. In this event, we suggest immediately consulting your healthcare provider. This is for information only and not for use in the treatment or management of an actual poison or overdose situation.
